Am I missing something here? I'm assuming they are supposed to buff my damage by 30% when attacking with dual swords for 20 seconds, but I'm not seeing it. And at least from some testing around on the target dummy, I don't notice any change in my attacks / damage after casting these skills. The Necromancer has just had a small update to polish a few abilities which will allow some more builds options for endgame Synergies content. What do "Thousand Cuts" and "Sweeping Strike" do? For one, at rank 0 the skill description for each of them appears to be identical. I progressed through Darkness Falls until I got to the Dragon Tower and Im stuck because the 2nd dragon wont land. First playthrough was an elite outlander dual pistols venomous hail crit build. The only thing I've found so far is a passive skill in each skill page that gives some bonuses per counter, but those don't unlock until much later in the game. Longer version: Hit with nostalgia, so Ive been re-playing TL2 and the Synergies Mod. still i cant farm 100 cause i die way to fast. Does having more counters buff my damage in some way? Are there skills that consume them? The tooltips for all the skills seem to assume that I already know what they are and what they do. The Problem : I cant almost survive (normal mode) im lvl 65 ranger. But I can't seem to find out what they actually do. What are "counters"? A lot of skills apparently generate them, in 3 different types (nature, storm, combat, etc.). The four Classes can be outfitted with different Skills and equipment to function in vastly different ways. So I'm trying out the Ranger class from Synergies mod, but already have 2 big questions: Over a dozen effective character builds are possible in Torchlight 2.
